How 'Bout Them Riverdogs?

Growing up, whenever there was an awkward moment in which the subject needed to be changed, my parents and I would ask, "So... how 'bout them Riverdogs?" The Charleston Riverdogs are the Minor League Baseball team here in Charleston. I had never been to a game of theirs until last month! All that to say, we are definitely enjoying our new home and surrounding area here in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

Since I last posted in early July, so many things have happened that are worthy of updates:
  • Cooper turned 3 years old on July 20! Can't believe my "baby" is a little boy now. He is enrolled in a local preschool program and is LOVING it! He is learning so much so fast! It's really amazing to watch.
  • Ashley is teaching at Cane Bay Elementary in Summerville. She is teaching third grade math, science, and social studies.
  • Timothy is settling in as senior pastor at First Presbyterian of Moncks Corner. The church has been so gracious in welcoming us! His installation service is next Sunday, October 6.
  • As a family, we have been enjoying the tri-county area through trips to Charleston (including Cooper's first carriage tour), a beach day at Isle of Palms, walks by Lake Moultrie, a barbeque competition, two Riverdogs games, Berkeley High School football games, and several family visits!
