Our "small kid" (as he calls himself) is turning three in nine days. This birthday of his is hitting me harder than expected. At one year old, I was glad to have survived the first year. At two, I was happy he was able to do so much. As three approaches, I am realizing how grown up he is. Granted, he definitely still "needs" me and such; but we have the beginnings of a little man on our hands. And sometimes that fact is hard to swallow.
Cooper loves the movie,
Cars. I mean, L.O.V.E. So of course, we had to have a Lightning McQueen birthday party. He can't quite say all of the sounds in Lightning McQueen - it comes out "Yightnin' Keen." Even though Cooper's birthday is a few days away, we had the party early so he would be able to see his friends and family before the move. We had a "KA-CHOW"-worthy time! Lots of outside play on the playground, yummy treats, and many of our sweet friends and family made this a special day!
