Warmer temperatures + blooming azaleas + pollen =

SPRING! We enjoyed a long weekend together last weekend here at the Scoonover house. It's warmed up in Thomasville, and Cooper is enjoying playing outdoors. The park is one of his favorite places to be. Saturday, he ran and ran until his little heart was content! Not very fond of swinging, but he sure does love the slide! Took a few faceplants when his body got ahead of his legs.... got the little skinned-up knees to prove it!

We also had a dead tree taken down in our front yard. Some very precious friends of ours helped us get it down without hitting the house or our power lines. I had to go back in the house as our friend was up in the bed of his truck on an extension ladder with a pole saw in hand. :)

On another note, Cooper is blossoming! He uses 50+ words regularly and is enjoying new interests such as coloring with crayons and sticking gel clings and stickers. He "decorated" our front door with some Easter egg clings:

And lastly, we are excited to plant a vegetable and herb garden in a couple of weeks. We've picked a spot and will be planting tomatoes, summer squash, bell peppers, jalapenos, and basil this year.

Stay tuned for more details and pictures! Happy Spring!
