A Work-Filled Weekend

Two weekends ago, Timothy's mom (Debbie) and stepdad (Bob) came to visit us. Being pregnant really limits what I can and SHOULD do as far as physical activity. We had several home improvement projects that we needed help with, especially painting, and they came ready and willing to work!! And boy did we work them! By the end of the weekend, the following projects were complete:
  • Cooper's room painted and trimmed
  • three sets of closet doors painted and re-installed
  • three sets of blinds installed in the living room
  • light pole by street cleaned, de-stickered, and painted
  • pole in back of house painted and birdhouse hung
  • clothesline removed from backyard
  • old swing set frame removed from backyard
  • garage organized
  • new thermometer hung in backyard
  • a few touch-ups to paint around the house
  • Goodwill donation run
Amongst all this work, we did have lots of fun catching up and grilling out! We even ate outside one evening! Thank you, Debbie and Bob (or should I say "Nana" and "BobBob")! It would've taken us months to do what you accomplished in one weekend! We appreciate all your help and hard work!!!
