Living Room and Office Makeover

Well it's official... my husband and I are crazy! We decided last Friday to paint/makeover our living room and office over the weekend. We had thought we would finish the outside of our house (see "Scoonover House Painting Project" under Labels to the right), but seeing in the forecast that rain was predicted everyday for the 7 and 10 day outlooks, we thought it would be fun to do an indoor project! The previous owners had painted over wallpaper, ugly dark green wallpaper. It was peeling away from the walls in many places, so this project ended up being a restoration and painting project. So after scraping, spackling, sanding, several trips to Lowe's, mopping, vacuuming, priming, painting, little sleep, more mopping, and second coats, WE LOVE THE RESULT!
