Conferences, goals, books, and laughing

Since we returned from Tennessee, we've slowly gotten back into the daily grind of things. It's been easy to stay inside and get stuff done as it has been super rainy and gray!

Some updates:

  • This weekend is a city-wide youth conference, DiscipleNOW.... second year that we've participated with other churches in the area.
  • We're gearing up for our World Mission Conference at our church, January 26-30. Excited to spend that time focused on local, domestic, and foreign mission opportunities and ways we can support them!
  • Instead of resolutions, I like to write goals for the year. Still working on those, I plan to have the list complete by the end of January.
  • Cooper has outgrown his infant carrier! He's about 21 pounds currently. We have his 6-month checkup later this week. Can't believe he's six months old on Thursday! He finally rolled over!!! (Takes lots of effort to move his chunky body!) Cooper loves books! He's also started laughing more recently. Not just a giggle, we're talking belly laughs. And in case you haven't seen this picture yet...
