Confession: I'm Nesting

So while I know the summer solstice is not yet upon us, it is definitely summer here in southern Georgia! With highs in the upper 90s everyday and as someone recently put it - "you can wear the air" - it is needless to guess where I am spending most of my time these days... indoors in the air conditioning. At 34 weeks pregnant and counting, I've recently realized that I am in the "nesting" phase. During the past couple of weeks, I have definitely had the "distinctive urge to clean, tidy, and organize," as one website puts it. It's been great to get so much accomplished though!! I have:

• organized all the baby gifts received
• washed/dried the baby bedding and readied his crib
• gone through/reorganized all of my scrapbooking supplies
• put photos that I will not be scrapping in albums (some all the way back from 2003)
• put recipes I had printed or collected from magazines into my recipe book
• kept up with the laundry
• cleaned out my dresser
• reorganized my gift wrapping supplies
• uploaded/updated my pictures to my computer and photo share site
• filed papers galore
• cleaned and straightened almost everything in the house

But don't worry, I am finding time to rest intermittently with all of these last-minute projects I want to get done!! I found it really interesting to read about "nesting." This article is really helpful in explaining it.
