The next Gene Kelly?

I thoroughly enjoyed my first tap class yesterday! I welcomed the treat of the class at the end of my first full week of teaching. It was an hour long, and we "reviewed" many different steps (many of the women had taken the class before). I actually kept up with most of the steps except the Maxie Ford (step, shuffle, leap, toe). I came home and wanted to show Tim all I had learned/remembered, so I tapped some on the kitchen floor and scuffed it (only a little) in the process. No more practicing in the kitchen! Since I've begun tapping, I'm reminded of one of my favorite scenes of Gene Kelly in Singin' in the Rain...
