A buggy berry-picking...

Last Saturday, Sarah M. and I went berry-picking at the nearby Russell Orchards in Ipswich. It's a beautiful place for fresh produce, the best apple cider donuts in the world, and a fun time with friends! Their website had advised against the bugs that had infested the place, yet I paid no attention thinking this wouldn't be a problem... boy, was I wrong! We were constantly swatting and fanning as we picked blueberries and red, purple, and black raspberries. With stained fingers and over twenty bug bites later, we emerged from the bushes, and I treated myself to a donut. :) After tasting the cobbler I made with the fresh berries, I decided it was worth the itch!
